More public school teachers could be out of a job next year.

Officials say budget cuts are the reason behind the loss of nearly four-thousand jobs in our state last year.

Now, schools say losses could be worst next year when federal stimulus money is gone.

Some districts have eliminated foreign languages, high-level sciences and other electives to cope with the money problems.

This year, lawmakers cut nearly 790 million dollars from the public schools budget.
