Grim numbers are out about unemployment in counties across the state.
Rates increased in all but one county in January.
Every county in the east saw higher numbers.
Onslow County has the lowest rate at 8.7 percent.
That's up from 8.2 in December.
The highest in the east Dare County at 17.6 percent, a two and a half percent increase.
