New Bern, N.C. - Drivers in New Bern will have a new way to get downtown on Friday.
The Alfred J. Cunningham Bridge will officially open Friday afternoon.
The bridge has been closed for three years for renovations.
It was changed from a swing bridge to a draw bridge.
