Police continue to investigate the murder of State Board of Education member Kathy Taft and they are looking for help from the community where she died.
From 11 o'clock tonight until three in the morning, Raleigh Police are conducting an informational checkpoint near the intersection of Oberlin Road and Cartier Drive.
They're handing out flyers with information, hoping people who regularly travel through the area will have additional information on the case.
Taft was brutally beaten in a home on Cartier Drive nearly two weeks ago.
So far, no arrests have been made.
There's a 25 thousand dollar reward for any information leading to the arrest of a suspect.
