Wilson County, N.C. - Charges of sexual abuse involving a child circulate around a middle school principal.
Police arrested Ronald Barringer on Friday.
They charged him with 3rd degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
That's all they're saying about the case at this point.
Barringer worked as the principal for Springfield Middle School in Wilson County.
Parents say they got a message that Barringer resigned from the school.
He's scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday.
