ATLANTIC BEACH, N.C. -- While things are now relatively quiet, Hurricane Earl still left his mark on the east.
Evacuation orders are now lifted for the pine knoll shores area and the Atlantic Beach bridge and Emerald Isle bridge are now open for traffic.
Hurricane Earl came the closest to the Outer Banks in the early morning hours and that was the worst we saw from the storm.
