WASHINGTON, N.C. - A Washington man is behind bars on drug charges.
It happened August 31st.
51 year old Dwight Dale Ore is charged with four counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Authorities say Ore's arrest comes after investigators allegedly purchased cocaine from him. When they arrived to serve arrest warrants on him, they found marijuana lying on his coffee table. A search of his residence yielded digital scales, cocaine, marijuana and a stolen Mossberg 410 shotgun.
Ore was placed in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $20,000.00 secured bond.
