KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. - Despite the evacuation orders, some homeowners along the outer banks decided to ride it out last night.
One of them is Bruce Meador.
He and his wife stayed put in Colington Harbor near Kill Devil Hills on the Outer Banks.
Bruce joined Nine On Your Side by telephone this afternoon to talk about how he’s a veteran of these types of storms and how Earl stacked up.
Bruce and his wife Barb have kept WNCT up to date on Earl over the past few days.
