WASHINGTON, N.C. - A husband and wife have been arrested on drug charges.

It happened August 31 in Washington.

Authorities say 46 year old Lawrence Ginn and 34 year old Brandy May Ginn are charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The two were arrested after investigators stopped a vehicle leaving a residence involved in the distribution of cocaine and marijuana. A K-9 unit directed investigators to the glove box of the vehicle as well as Lawrence Ginn's pocket, where they discovered marijuana and cocaine.

The Ginns were placed in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $2,500.00 secured bond.
