GREENVILLE, N.C. - Greenville Police are looking for the man who robbed the "Sonic"restaurant on Memorial Drive this morning. According to officers, the store's manager had just closed the restaurant for the night, when a suspect approached one of the doors and fired a shot right through it.
When the glass door shattered, the armed suspect walked right inside and demanded money. There were three employees there at the time of the robbery. None of them were hurt. The suspect was wearing all black clothing--- including a ski mask.
Police say the weapon he used in the robbery was a 22-caliber-rifle. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Pitt-Greenville Crimestoppers at 758-7777.
