WILSON, N.C. - A man from the east is behind bars accused of stabbing his wife to death. Police say it happened at their home on Herman Drive around 4 o’clock Friday afternoon.
They say when they arrived on scene they found 43 yr. old Cynthia Speight already dead on the scene. Police charged 46 yr. old Mark Speight with her death.
He’s charged with 1st degree murder and is in the Wilson County Detention Center without bond.
