Power outage closes Halifax County Courthouse

HALIFAX, N.C. - The Halifax County Courthouse will be closed for the rest of the day due to a power outage.

Officials say they're working on major electrical problems in the building.

The historic courthouse and other Halifax County offices in the area will remain open.
