A man driving a forklift down a Fort Worth, Texas street on Sunday was tased after the incident escalated in a multi-car pursuit that ended in the middle of Interstate 30 (8/14).
Police say Timothy Raines, 43, was shirtless, drunk and tossing empty beer cans at officers who were trying to pull the forklift over.
Raines veered off University into a nearby parking lot, then drove back onto the street. He then slowly crept onto westbound Interstate 30. Police eventually encircled the forklift and shot him with a Taser and arrested him.
Raines was charged with aggravated assault, auto theft, evading arrest, violation of a protective order and driving while intoxicated. He remains in the Tarrant County Jail.
