ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WNCT) -- Two teens were arrested after robbing a father and his two children while they were in a park on Thursday afternoon.
Police tell us it happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. on River Drive in Rocky Mount. We know the suspects are two males; one is 14-years-old and the other is 15-years-old.
Police say the boys were armed and demanded money from the father whose children were with him. The victim gave up the money and the suspects left the scene but police saw them leave.
They've been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. No injuries were reported.
