SNOW HILL, N.C. - A Greene County woman was arrested and charged with stealing Christmas cards out of someone's mail.
Deputies arrested Crystal Brann for two counts of attempted larceny of mail.
We first told you about a story in December, where James Topping found opened mail just days before Christmas.
Sheriff Lemmie Smith wouldn't confirm whose mail Brann is accused of stealing, but that she was going into someone's mailbox to take the cards.
Brann is out on a $2,000 dollar bond.

SNOW HILL, N.C. - Greene County deputies are investigating a possible case of mail theft.
James Topping went out to check his mail last week, but was surprised at what he found.
"I saw a stack of mail in my mailbox but it was torn and tattered,” he said.
At first, Topping says he didn't think too much of it, until he took a closer look.
"I started to sort through it and the first two or three letters I noticed were someone else's address and then I went through the stack and noticed all of them were other people's address and I said oh my goodness,” Topping said.
A stack of nearly 20 Christmas cards that had been ripped open somehow ended up into his mailbox.
He took the letters to the snow hill post office and told the postmaster what he had found.
Then he realized he was missing some of *his mail including a card from his aunt.
"She said I sent you a Christmas card about 2 and half weeks ago didn't you get it? And I said no,” explained Topping.
So he reported that to the Greene County sheriff's office.
"I think basically they were looking for petty cash or gift certificates,” said Topping.
Tampering with someone else's mail is actually a federal offense, and deputies say its best, especially during the holidays, not to send cash in your Christmas cards.
Deputies say they haven't had any other reports, but neighbors we talked with say they don't know if they are missing any mail, because they're not sure who has sent them cards.
Topping says he normally gets about 30 cards each year but has only gotten 7 so far this year.
"Anything like that makes you feel like you've been violated."
He says he just hopes the Christmas cards he found in his box, will make it to their right home for the holidays.
