MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. - He's an international underwater photographer and he lives right here in the East.
Marc Montocchio is getting national recognition for his work.
Every picture has a story... And every story has a picture.
Montocchio says "We can't follow in other people's footsteps. Then the images won't sparkle the way they are supposed to".
Montocchio has taken underwater pictures in national and international waters.
But his studio is in Carteret County.
He says "I do editorial work, I sell my pictures to magazines, but I also have a gallery here in morehead city where we sell prints from".
National publications like National Geographic and Marlin magazine have featured his work.
His photos run between 5-hundred dollars and upwards of 3-thousand dollars.
