Beulaville man arrested for sexual assault

BUSCO BEACH, N.C. – Wayne County authorities tell Nine on Your Side a Beulaville man was arrested on Sunday and charged with second degree rape.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says Anthony Mancenty Pfaff, 40, was arrested on June 26 in Bosco Beach after a sexual assault involving a 19-year-old female was reported. Officials also say that Pfaff and a relative of the victim were involved in an altercation before officials arrived at the scene. Pfaff was treated by EMS officials. The victim was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital where they were treated and released.

Pfaff is under a $100,000 bond. He remains in custody as of Wednesday.
