GREENVILLE, N.C. - Many of us know someone who has some form of dementia.

Alzheimer's is one of those diseases that can be hardest to deal with and one that many don't know a lot about.

9 On Your Side is partnering with Alzheimer's North Carolina to start our “Understanding Alzheimer's” series.

Executive Director Alice Watkins stopped by WNCT-TV to talk with us about the disease and how important it is to understand it’s effects on those affected and their loved ones.
