UPDATED: WILSON, N.C. - 19-year-old Shadimond Littleton has died as a result of injuries after being shot in a car in Wilson Wednesday night.

WILSON, N.C. - One person is dead, the other is in critical condition following a shooting.

Police say it happened Wednesday night around 11:47 p.m. on Wilson Street.

Officers responding to a shots fired call found two females in a 1997 White Ford Crown Victoria suffering from gunshot wounds. Another occupant in the vehicle was uninjured.

The victims were identified as 20-year-old Shikia Denise Hall and 19-year-old Shadimond Littleton, both of Wilson.

Hall died from her injuries while Littleton was taken to Pitt Memorial Hospital for treatment. She's reportedly in critical condition.
