Base responds to false alarm at new Cherry Hospital construction site

GOLDSBORO, N.C. - Authorities say a possible bomb threat at a local hospital construction site this morning was just a false alarm.

A Seymour Johnson Air Force Explosive Team responded to Cherry Hospital this morning around 10:30.

Base officials said the threat originated through a call from an unknown individual. We'll bring you more details as they become available.
