GREENVILLE, N.C. - The debate about how to teach children handwriting has been a long one.

Growing up we all heard that if you have better handwriting, you'll do better in school.

New studies show that learning to write well can have even more profound implications.

But what's the best way to teach your kids how to write and what exactly are your kids learning?
