Wilson Man Killed After Head-On Collision With School Bus

WILSON, N.C. - A 69-year old Wilson man died Monday after a head on collision with a school bus.

Police say Robert Lee Hills was driving on Forest Hills Rd near Cardinal Dr. when his Lincoln Town Car crossed the center line, around 6:50 a.m. Monday.

The bus driver, an assistant, and the 5 students from Fike High School who were on the bus were not injured. Police say Hills died at the scene.

The cause of the wreck is still under investigation, but Police have ruled out speed and alcohol. Police believe medial issues may have been a factor.
