JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - Two Holly Ridge residents are behind bars today accused of cooking up a meth lab in a home.
It happened Wednesday at a home on Clearview Drive.
The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says 26-year-old Scott E. Vance and 22-year-old Kelly Hoffer are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine among other charges after deputies discovered a small lab inside the residence.
Deputies say items discovered in the residence amounted to a one pot meth lab operation.
The items located inside the residence are commonly known as a One Pot Meth Lab operation.
The SBI Clan Lab Unit was notified and they arrived to process the scene while Advanced Environment Options, a certified meth lab cleanup company, collected and disposed of the hazardous materials from operation.
