GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Greenville Police says two people were arrested on drug charges after police were called to their home over a dispute with someone else living in the apartment complex.
We’re told Kelvin Williams Jr., 29, and Veronica Barrett, 22, were each charged with one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for selling a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Barrett was also charged with communicating threats.
Police were called to their home at the New Town Housing complex on W. 14th Street on Thursday. Officers were told the pair got in a dispute with another person living there who reported seeing Barrett’s 2-year-old child wandering around the parking lot unsupervised.
The case is being investigated and could be referred to the Department of Social Services.
