Pitt Co. Father and Son arrested on heroin trafficking charges

GRIMESLAND, N.C. (WNCT) – The Pitt Co. Sheriff’s Department says a father and son were arrested Tuesday and charged with selling heroin.

Their arrests wrap up a three month long investigation by the narcotics unit. Eugene Hamilton, 73, and Floyd Hamilton, 52, are charged with trafficking heroin and opium; and possession with intent to sell and deliver.

Both men were taken to the Pitt County Detention Center and given secured bonds.
