Couple arrested in Pitt County for drug charges during traffic stop

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Pitt County Deputies say they arrested a couple from out of town on drug charges during a traffic stop.

Richard Bradley Smith, 24, and Amanda Grace Difulio, 22, were each arrested and charged with one count of possession with intent to sell marijuana and maintaining a vehicle for the sale and storage of drugs. Both are from Wilmington.

Deputies acted off a tip that the couple would be making a delivery to a home in Pitt County. When they were stopped, deputies found a pound of marijuana in the car. It had a street value of $4,800.

Both Smith and Difulio were arrested on $15,000 bond.
