JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – Jacksonville Police say a man wanted in connection to a bank robbery is now in custody and charged with the crime.
Rodney R. Milton, 27, is in custody in the Onslow County Jail under a $130,000 bond. He charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
Police say they arrested Milton at the Coastal Hotel on Wilmington Highway early Thursday morning. Officials believe Milton robbed the Marine Federal Credit Union around 12:00 p.m. Wednesday. They say he rode to the bank in taxi, waited in line and passed a
note to the teller demanding cash.
