Greenville Police investigating armed robbery

GREENVILLE, N.C. - An armed robbery is currently under investigation by police.

It happened Feburary 6th at the Mid Town Grocery near 14th Street & Myrtle Avenue.

Officers say a man walking out of the store reported two men called out to him as he was leaving, pointed a black semi-auto handgun at him, demanded he give them his money.

They fled southwest on Myrtle Avenue with $75.

Both are described as black males; one about 6’ 2” tall, weighing 230-240lbs, the other about 5’ 5” tall with a goatee. Both were wearing dark colored clothing and hooded jackets that covered their hair.

The case remains under investigation.
