GREENVILLE, N.C. - A local school system is looking to fill a vacant school board seat.
The Pitt County Board of Education needs someone who can fill Michael Ward's seat.
Ward served as the District 1 Seat-A board member.
He died last month.
If you're interested in the position, the deadline to apply is February 27th.
The only requirement is that you live in District 1 and you are registered to vote in Pitt County.
