PROVO, Utah (AP) - She's been arrested on suspicion of shoplifting. But police in Utah say a woman who was taken in has also falsely claimed that she was one of the "Cosby Kids." Authorities say the woman was picked up after going into a J.C. Penney store - where they say she put several items into a bag and walked out of the store. When stopped by security, it turned out she had about $600 worth of goods. Authorities say Leah Efay Davis told police in Provo, Utah she played Rudy Huxtable, the youngest daughter on the Cosby show. But the actress who played Rudy is named Keisha Knight Pulliam. Court records also say the woman claimed to have owned the entire mall in which she was arrested.
The Salt Lake Tribune (http://bit.ly/wvYewn) reports Davis was charged with a felony count of retail theft and a misdemeanor trespassing charge.
