WASHINGTON, N.C. - Police say they're investigating a robbery at a local KFC.
It happened January 3rd.
Officers say two masked men wearing dark clothing possibly armed with handguns entered the restaurant on Carolina Avenue and took money from the store. No one was injured in the incident. Police say the pair left the building on foot.
It's the second such crime at the location in recent months. The first happened on December 14th.
Investigators think the two incidents are connected.
