KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) - A mother and her baby are safe after a car plowed right through their apartment living room.
Management at the Heritage Court Apartments says it happened just after 10 a.m. Friday.
Neighbors say a 61-year-old man was driving the car.
The driver was airlifted to Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Witnesses say the mother and her baby were not injured.
Staff says the family will be moved into another apartment in the complex.
