Sex offender accused of sexual assault on 2 juveniles

WASHINGTON, N.C. - A man already registered as a sex offender is behind bars, accused of assaulting two juveniles.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s says the sexual assault happened at a home on South White Post Road in Pinetown.

61-year-old Charlie Clayton Daniels, Sr. is accused of the sexual assault on two juveniles. He's charged with three counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child.

Daniels was arrested on January 7th and placed in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a $6,500 secured bond.
