GREENVILLE, N.C. - Your odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are getting a little better.
The lottery is changing the structure of the game.
The bottom line? It means more and bigger pay-offs.
The starting pot will now be $40-million, instead of $20-million.
And lottery execs say, the game should produce more $1-million dollar prize winners.
The changes also mean a jump in ticket prices from one to two dollars a piece.
The first drawing under the new game structure will be on Wednesday.
