GREENVILLE, N.C. - Greenville City Manager Wayne Bowers is retiring.
He made the announcement Friday evening.
In his resignation letter to Mayor Allen Thomas and the Greenville City Council, Bowers said his last day in office will be February 29th. He also thanked them for the opportunity and privilege to serve as city manager for the last seven plus years.
He didn't state a reason for his retirement.
No word yet on a replacement.
