PAMLICO COUNTY, N.C. - More charges are pending in a weekend accident that killed a woman in Pamlico County.
It happened around 2 o'clock Saturday morning.
That's when Josh Hardison ran his jeep off Creek Pointe Road and hit a tree.
Four other people were in the SUV, including 24-year-old Amber Jones of New Bern who died instantly.
Hardison faces DWI charges. We're told this isn't his first DWI.

PAMLICO COUNTY, N.C. - A man with prior DWI convictions wrecked his SUV in Pamlico County this morning, killing woman in the process. Highway Patrol says he was again - under the influence of alcohol. It happened around 2 o'clock this morning. That's when Josh Hardison of New Bern and four other people were traveling on an unpaved portion of Creek Pointe Road. Investigators believe Hardison was driving to fast for the rainy conditions and lost control of his Jeep Cherokee. The SUV hit a tree, killing 24-year-old Amber Jones, also of New Bern. Hardison was charged with driving while impaired. More charges are pending.
