MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. - (WNCT) – Morehead City police are investigating a drug store robbery.
It happened around 8:30pm Saturday night at the Rite Aid on 2904 Arendell Street.
Police say the suspect entered the store, went back to the pharmacy and handed employees a note demanding narcotics.
The employees gave him an unknown amount of narcotics and he left.
Police say the suspect walked eastward from the store. They are following up on some leads.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30’s or 40’s, about 6 ft. tall and 200-220 pounds. Witnesses say he had short dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a black toboggan, black hoodie, and black sunglasses.
