NEWPORT, N.C. - Newport Police say they’ve arrested two people for recent break-ins. Jennifer Daniels and Eric Sanders are charged with felony counts of breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy. An officer spotted the duo on Saturday while on an unrelated call. Both were wanted for a break-in on January 5 in the 100 block of Mindora Court. They were also connected to several break-ins in the nearby area. Authorities say the two had been hired by victims to perform home repairs when the crimes took place. Police say they may have stolen more than five-thousand dollars in various items.
