CARY, N.C. (AP) - Zach Von Tersch threw seven innings of four-hit ball as Georgia Tech took a 4-1 victory over North Carolina for a split of their doubleheader on Sunday.
Kyle Seager and Chad Flack had record-setting performances as the Tar Heels took a 10-4 victory in the opener.
Flack was 2-for-4 with two RBI in the first game to tie Chad Prosser's school record of 291 career hits, and then broke the mark with a single to right in the sixth inning of game two. He now has a 21-game hitting streak.
Seager hit safely in both games to extend his hitting streak to 27 games, which stands as the fourth longest in school history. He and Flack drove in half of North Carolina's runs in the opener in support of Adam Warren (5-0), who ran his career record to a perfect 18-0.
