(AP) - High Point has a new athletic director.
The school announced yesterday that Craig Keilitz will take over on February 1st. He is currently the associate athletic director at Wake Forest.
Keilitz has spent more than a decade at Wake Forest. He rose from assistant athletic director for compliance to associate AD of internal operations before being named to his current position.
He now supervises marketing, promotions, media relations, operations and event management.
Keilitz replaces Woody Gibson, who resigned in November. Gibson spent nine years at High Point and helped the program move to Division I.
Before coming to Wake Forest in 1996, Keilitz was Michigan's director of compliance.
