(AP) - T.J. Carter got 23 points to help UNC Wilmington sneak by Hofstra 74-69 last night, with Carter scoring four of the Seahawks' last six point.
Todd Hendley scored 18 points for UNC Wilmington, which is now 9-and-7. Daniel Fountain added 13 points, and Vladimir Kuljanin finished with 12.
Hofstra led 69-68 with 1:42 left, but Carter got two free throws followed by a basket with 28 seconds left that put the Seahawks up 72-69. Todd Hendley got a dunk with one second left for the final score.
Agudio scored 29 points for Hofstra and Charles Jenkins scored 17.
Hofstra is now 3-and-10.
