(AP) - Fourth-ranked Maryland drew one of the biggest crowds ever to watch an Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball game -- and sent their fans home happy.
Marissa Coleman scored a career-high tying 30 points, and the Terrapins pulled away to an 85-70 victory over 10th-ranked Duke. The crowd of 15,531 was the fifth-largest crowd in ACC history.
It was the 10th straight win for the Terrapins, who blew a 13-point lead in the second half but never trailed. Kristi Toliver scored 19 of her 21 points after halftime, Crystal Langhorne finished with 16 and Laura Harper added 13.
Coleman made a 3-pointer, a layup and two free throws in a 13-0 run that made it 81-68 with 2:09 left.
Maryland had lost nine straight at home against Duke.
Carrem Gay and Jasmine Thomas each scored 17 for the Blue Devils, whose eight-game winning streak ended.
