UNDATED (AP) - The United States has tuned up for the semifinals of the World Baseball Classic by dropping a 10-6 decision to Venezuela.
The Venezuelans took advantage of a wild throw by first baseman Adam Dunn, which led to four unearned runs. Dunn made two errors while starting in place of Kevin Youkilis (YOO'-kih-lihs), who is expected to miss the rest of the tournament because of a sprained left ankle.
