GRAND JUNCTION-Pitt's stay in the 2010 JUCO World Series was a short one, as the Bulldogs dropped their second game of the tournament 11-8 to Temple College of Texas on Sunday.

Pitt led 8-1 after five innings, but gave up five runs in the 6th and four more in the 7th in the loss.

Nick Abrahamson was 3-5 for Pitt. Taylor Buran hit a home run for the Bulldogs.

Pitt ends the season with a record of 42-12. The Bulldogs are coached by former ECU star and Pirate assistant coach Tommy Eason.
