Pitt, Lenoir Fall in World Series Play

GRAND JUNCTION, CO. AND ENID, OKLAHOMA- Pitt Community College and Lenoir Community College both lost in their first round games at their respective JUCO World Series' on Saturday.

In Grand Junction, the College of Southern Nevada beat Pitt 13-5. Southern Nevada hit three home runs as part of a 14 hit attack in the game. The Bulldogs face elimination on Sunday afternoon, taking on Temple College on the second day of the Division I JUCO World Series.

In Enid, Oklahoma, Lenoir Community College lost to Paradise Valley Community College 9-6. Tyler Edwards led the Lancers at the plate, going 4-5 in the game. LCC is in the Division II JUCO World Series.
