GREENVILLE, N.C. - Storm Team 9 delivered the forecast on the road to join two Little League All-Star baseball teams as they battled it out in Greenville at Elm Street Park.

11 and 12 year old All-Star teams Greenville Tarheel played Greenville North State for the District 4 championship Friday.

North State's Colin Smith gets things started early for his team with a three run homer. That put North State up 3 to 1 in the bottom of the first inning.

But, Greenville Tarheel would rally in the top of the third. Holton Ahlers knocked a ball out of the park putting his team ahead 5 to 3.

Then, Tarheel's Coleman Sawyer pops a fly ball to a hustling Sam Sneed who makes the out. But, Sawyer is credited with a sacrifice fly as Tarheel gets a sixth run off the play.

Greenville North State would make it interesting cutting the score to 6 to 5.  But Tarheel would hold on to win the District 4 championship with a final of 6-5.

Greenville Tarheel will move on to the State Tournament in Cherryville next Saturday. Congratulations to both teams!
