Nevada homes under water and ice

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Hundreds of Nevada homes are drowning in as much as 8 feet of water.

On Saturday a canal ruptured in the town of Fernley. Freezing weather has spread sheets of ice over neighborhoods, and that's preventing the water from draining quickly.

That same storm system has piled snow as much as 11 feet deep in the Sierra Nevada’s and is blamed for three deaths.
