SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Road crews in Spokane, Washington, can't catch a break.
After receiving more than six feet of snow this winter, about another 8 inches fell Monday.
The snow largely shut down the city and extended the holiday break for students.
The National Weather Service has warned that the number of roof collapses in the area could rise as heavy rains are forecast to arrive. That would add crushing weight to the tons of snow already on many rooftops.
