Rain ends Seattle dry streak at 29 days

SEATTLE (AP) - Overnight rain ended the spring dry streak in Seattle at 29 days, tying the record May-June record set in 1982.

SEATTLE (AP) - Overnight rain ended the spring dry streak in Seattle at 29 days, tying the record May-June record set in 1982.
The National Weather Service says rain was recorded at Sea-Tac Airport with just 11 minutes left in Thursday's measurement period.
The overall record for consecutive dry days at the airport is 51 set in July and August of 1951.
Forecasters expect cool and showery weather to continue through the weekend in western Washington.
