FRIDAY FORECAST DETAILS: Expect mostly sunny skies, light north breezes, and afternoon highs in the upper 50s to possibly lower 60s. Sunset is 5:38.
FRIDAY NIGHT FORECAST DETAILS: Expect mostly clear skies, light breezes, and lows in the 30s for inland spots and 40s for the beaches.
WEEKEND FORECAST DETAILS: Saturday will feature increasing clouds, a shower chance near 20%. Saturday night will feature the highest chance for showers in the weekend - 60%. Sunday will feature a 40% of showers (washout not expected). Temperatures will likely climb to highs in the 50s both days.
A PEEK INTO NEXT WEEK: A shower chance of 20% will linger for Monday. A dry stretch of weather is likely Tuesday through Thursday. Expect daily high temperatures in the 50s through the period.
THE FIRST RAIN SYSTEM OF FEBRUARY – early Thursday, February 2 – delivered rainfall of 0.38” to Kinston, 0.18” to New Bern, 0.14” to Greenville, and 0.05” to Jacksonville.
